About this role
The purpose of this role is to support all aspects of business readiness and BT business change for the second phase of Making Finance Brilliant, our finance transformation programme. The role will sit in our PMO/Delivery team working as part of a multidisciplinary core team (process, data, org design, systems, change and communications) which is implementing a simplified and standardised system and process landscape across the Group Finance function.
The role is important because MFB replaces a large part of our old finance systems across BT Group and will include the implementation of an SAP/Hana platform. This role will focus on supporting the BT business and programme leads in activity that prepares the business including a coordinating and managing role on activities such as role mapping, UAT preparation, change networks, reporting to leadership, in line with the overall Core UK delivery plans. This specific role will focus on our business readiness and change function activities and support the business and programme to adopt our new systems and processes
You'll have the following responsibilities
Supporting all levels of change activity and business readiness on the Core UK (Subledger) phase of the programme
Have a hands on approach to business engagement working with business partners to deliver and report on their plans alongside programme activities
Building and maintaining strong relationships with Transformation leads and SMEs as applicable to ensure the delivery of the change
Championing the change by driving best practice and consistency
Providing insight on progress to the leadership actively troubleshooting where we need more focus to deliver
You'll have the following skills & experience
Strong planning skills managing transformation portfolios and/or large programmes
Ability to build relationships and work with large functional and matrix teams, working on different phases in different locations
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges holding people to account where necessary
SAP/Hana knowledge - Desirable
