Thriving MSP based in Newcastle seeking Brisbane-based Service Desk Analyst to assist key QLD clientele. Your new company

A flourishing Newcastle-based managed service provider is on the hunt for a Service Desk Analyst to look after their key Queensland clients. With on-the-job training and development, this organisation provides a fantastic foundation from which you can grow your support career.

Your new role

Working closely with the Newcastle team, you will be provisioning L1/2 support to this MSPs Queensland clientele. Working from home, with period onsite support needed and the opportunity to travel to North Queensland biannually, no day will look the same. However, some of your key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Working across Active Directory, O365, Windows 10, and other core support tech
  • Ensuring SLAs are met by providing exceptional customer service to clients
  • Collaborate with fellow staff to increase personal knowledge, and develop skillset accordingly
  • Establish effective working relationships with peer groups, and key internal stakeholders
  • Monitor personal performance against organisation objectives, and instigate remedial action as required
  • Drive your own learning, in upskilling and completing certifications

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a self-starter, with an unparalleled drive to complete, achieve, and succeed in your work. You will be able to thrive in autonomous and team-based working environments, with a passion for helping people and fantastic communication skills in-person and over the phone. Some of your key competencies will include, but are not limited to:

  • 6-12 months experience working in IT Support
  • Working knowledge of MS operating environments and applications, networks and end user devices
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment, with the ability to provide high quality service
  • Understanding of ITIL processes

Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, and relevant industry certifications, will be highly regarded, but are not essential.
