  • 6 month temporary contract with potential for extension or permanent possibilities
  • ASAP Start
  • $30ph + 8% holiday
  • Work From Home primarily with one/two days based onsite in their Porirua office.
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

The Company

This well known, global organisation is looking for someone to join their small, dynamic New Zealand IT team. If successful you would be part of this driven team supporting staff across NZ with a range of internal IT issues, from hardware, software, networking, servers, phone systems etc.

Primarily working form home now, this role is in a fantastic option for those looking to work remotely but still be part of a team and come together weekly. Based in the centre of Porirua, this is ideal for anyone in the Wellington/Kapiti Coast region that is looking for a flexible work options.

The Role

This role is a hybrid, service desk analyst role involving;

  • Everything from Level 1 to Level 3 support and troubleshooting.
  • First Call Resolutions - this is a small team with no point of escalation. You are responsible for resolving 90% of tickets.
  • Largely Phone Based Support - PBX administration
  • Desktop and Software Support - Hardware builds and deployment
  • Server Support

The Applicant

With various projects of work on the go, this team are looking for someone with at least 12 months experience within a Service Desk environment that can come in a hit the ground running.

With the wide reaching remit of this team, any successful candidate must be adaptable and happy to be both on the phones and behind the scenes, taking ownership of problems and incidents collectively. We are looking for individuals with the following skillset;

  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Collaborative team player, able to work independently also
  • Attention to detail and ability to retain information quickly
  • Proud customer service delivery
  • Experience across Service Desk/Desktop Support

All candidates must have Long Term NZ work rights, NZ residency or citizenship and clear criminal history.
