We are looking for an organised, committed and skilled Service Administrator to join our amazing teams at Bay6 and Lancashire Young Carers, working across both services you will provide financial, administrative and office support to enable our services to run smoothly and effectively, could this be you?
Barnardo's provides supported accommodation to young people aged 16-24 across seven sites in Lancashire. The service aims to provide young people with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for independent living. The young people who live in our accommodation are from a range of backgrounds and are often either in the process of Leaving Care or have experienced homelessness. The services are staffed 24 hours per day by a dedicated team. Young people can live within our accommodation for up to 2 years and then move on successfully into their own accommodation in a planned and coordinated way. We provide accommodation and support for 17 young people on a 24/7 basis across 3 buildings.
Lancashire Young Carers supports young carers across Lancashire working with them to reduce the impact of their caring role.
This role is based in Barnardo's Lancashire locality, initially in Leyland at the Bay6 Project.
The Service Administrator's main tasks will be:
We are looking for an administrator who can demonstrate good organisational skills, attention to detail, numeracy and literacy skills and an ability to work with Microsoft office programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook, a good understanding of finances is essential.
