About the team

Working in a team of five, this team leads the assessment, development and implementation of workforce shaping strategies and programs to assist the agency and its businesses to meet its objectives and mitigate workforce-related risk.

This team will work closely with project teams across the Agency to identify translate workforce shaping strategies into implementation and work agilely to respond to changing needs.

The opportunity

In this role you will be expected to work closely with the business to resolve complex workforce issues and design strategic initiatives. This will be a varied role with elements of data analytics, drafting strategy and assisting the senior workforce planners with larger scale projects. At the same time you will work on your own smaller scale projects, so you will need to manage both priorities with exceptional organisational skills.

Key accountabilities

• Provide expert advice to the leadership team in the areas of people metrics, reporting, and advanced and predictive analytics as per workforce shaping and design policies and serve as the domain expert for workforce shaping strategies, analytics and insights.
• Identify business challenges and use data analysis to help influence changes to policy, process or programs.
• Take initiative in the identification and implementation of activities and programs which address identified resource and workforce priorities for the organisation and divisions.
• Develop and implement mobility and resourcing strategies to meet the organisation\'s workforce shaping objectives.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Demonstrated senior experience in workforce or behavioural data analytics and strategic planning.
• Tertiary qualifications in human resources, data science, statistics or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Have a broad understanding of Human Resources.

 

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Grade 9A ($138,670) – 9E ($155,309) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
