Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with user-interface design.

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of design systems.
  
• Ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale within a user-centered design process.
  
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders, achieve strategic goals and evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends.
  
• Ability to closely collaborate with other UX functions, product management, and engineering to take product from concept to launch.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop, mobile, Android, and iOS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the visual design direction for our products and cross-Surface Design System team. Develop and executing high quality proposals from concept to production.
  
• Develop visual design frameworks, pattern libraries, and visual style guides.
  
• Evolve the continued development of Fitbit\'s design language and design systems. Design with the brand holistically across multiple surfaces and platforms.
  
• Evolve the UI to ensure we are delivering an approachable and engaging experience.
  
• Build cross-organizational and cross-functional consensus, bringing everyone along.
