• We'll look to you to be a passionate advocate for great visual design, you'll focus on crafting engaging and compelling experiences across our digital channels
• You'll be at the forefront of shaping our visual design implementation, always looking to improve our principles, standards and design patterns, centred around best practice, consistency and re-use

What you'll do

As a Senior UI Designer, you’ll lead by example by setting a benchmark of what good looks like through clarity and stunning visuals. You’ll also be responsible for digital design concepts and delivery across our channels.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing relationships with fellow designers, researchers, product owners and developers to create stunning products and experiences
• Be a champion of creativity and a mentor for less experienced team members
• Driving our creative culture by being a great advocate for design
• Working with Agile project teams and key stakeholders, in sprints, retrospectives and reviews, to develop user centred solutions within project timeframes
• Collaborating with project stakeholders to help understand and define customer value

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in UI and visual design with a portfolio that demonstrates both creative thinking and the delivery of effective and powerful visual design solutions. You’ll also need a solid understanding of visual design execution and digital delivery, and how design can meet brand, user and business objectives.

You’ll also need:

• A good understanding of design systems and how to work with design systems 
• Experience of delivering interface designs for applications, in high performance environments
• A proven track record of providing high quality design concepts and assets for applications
• The ability to work in a user-centred design approach and successfully present your work and the rationale behind it
• Expertise in Adobe design suite, Sketch, Figma or similar
• A good understanding of responsive and adaptive design
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
