About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Technology team in the role as Senior Technology Manager - Security & Infrastructure delivery.

The role will entail establishing and being responsible for cross-functional teams to implement a range of IT enabled programmes, through leadership of a team of Project Managers and trusted 3rd parties.

The role is Responsible for planning, managing and delivering Security & Infrastructure programmes to reduce operational risk, utilising programme management best practice and bringing continual improvements to Morrisons delivery landscape keeping customer and colleague in mind, through work with a wide variety of Internal and External stakeholders. 

The role will be responsible for

• Programme / project delivery within Enterprise Services

• Accountability for ensuring delivery of programmes to reduce technical risks

• Experience in the Programme Delivery field 

• Contribute to and build business cases for requests for CAPEX funding for Technology improvement programme

• Matrix management of Project and Trainee Project Managers ensuring alignment to the overall strategic IT and business aim

About You

Knowledge

Security & Infrastructure Delivery

Prince 2 Certification (or equivalent) 

Skills

Able to build programmes and produce capital investment business cases for Technology

Manage vendors, contract and internal staff to achieve outcomes

Define financial requirements and manage large/complex budgets

Identify, deliver and measure programme benefits

Determine, setup and maintain apt governance and support structures

Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and communicate at senior level

Experience

Managed large & complex project/programme (>£20M, multiple delivery streams & stakeholders)
