You will be the first point of contact for technical and logistical queries, with the ability to direct and problem solve under pressure in live studio environments and on location. You will assist with departmental and production forward planning, liaising on all matters relating to technical production. You'll run all technical facilities and systems and train staff in systems and workflows where necessary.
You will need extensive operational experience, knowledge of production processes and the technical requirements needed to deliver programmes and events on the required platforms. You will also need extensive knowledge and experience of radio studio and/or outside broadcast operation. You will need experience of successfully leading teams and the ability to manage resources within financial and technical constraints. A comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and an ability to operate to, and communicate, safe practices in the workplace and on outside broadcasts is essential. The ability to engage with senior representatives of outside organisations such as governmental bodies and artist management is also important.
