“As part of Global OTT Technology, you’ll be joining us supporting multiple scrum teams on their objective to deliver a best-of-breed Video on Demand and Live OTT service for international audiences. You’ll be primarily responsible for the definition, analysis and sizing of technical requirements for major programmes delivered across NOW’s broad range of applications†– Principal Business Analyst
What you’ll do:
Lead on the gathering and analysis of requirements for new development programmes submitted through our Quarterly Planning Process (QPP)
Work closely with the Product Manager to create and refine epics, user stories and acceptance criteria needed to deliver the Technology effort for QPP programmes
Take responsibility for owning the documentation of technical requirements through the planning phase of the software development lifecycle
Break down requirements into work packages to be estimated by the development teams
Lead and facilitate estimation sessions with the development teams by explaining the work packages
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop a long-term technical strategy
Work with client development teams, UX & engineering teams to develop reusable solutions for different countries and businesses within Sky’s OTT domain
Develop, propose and drive improvements in our analysis and software development processes
Whatyou’ll bring:
Proven experience of analysing and documenting complex business and technical requirements
Proven experience of day-to-day agile Technical Analyst/Product Owner responsibilities (backlog refinement, planning sessions, showcases, capturing stories/cards/acceptance criteria etc.)
Proven ability to prioritise workload in multi-project/multi-team environments
An understanding of application architecture concepts, being comfortable working with Solution Architects and Senior Developers
Experience in planning and leading workshops with stakeholders at all levels to elicit requirements and capture process
Experience in creating customer facing products (for example, mobile applications)
The capacity to work independently in order to achieve successful results
The ability to think creatively, deal with ambiguity and manage changing priorities

The Office:
Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. There’s also plenty of parking, bike shelters and showers.
