We are seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to support the design test plans and implement automated tests against a Kubernetes based deployment. The ideal candidate will have experience including functional (test the actual application exposed via an HTTP API), non-functional (security, reliability), and deployment (scalability, release procedures) testing. Previous experience setting up testing frameworks is also a must.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Fundamental understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies: Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, container orchestration and configuration management with Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of testing container-based software applications
• Experience with IP networking and routing (DHCP, IPv4/IPv6, TCP/IP, and so on)
• Understanding of Docker files, k8s pod spec in yaml files, stateful sets, Persistent volume, k8s scheduler, and certificate management
• Experience in testing RESTful APIs and a good understanding of Continuous Integration process and test management tools such as Jenkins, Jira etc
