Job Description

As the Senior Strategic Communications Lead, youll be responsible for providing high-quality, trusted and strategic advice to communicate the varied work of the Senedd to have the most impact.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications professional looking to refine their strategic communications skills. You will work alongside colleagues in both Communications and Engagement services, and across the Senedd to develop audience-led, insight driven campaigns to support specific objectives, measured against campaign and corporate KPIs.

Playing a leading role to set, co-ordinate and guide the planning and implementation of activity, in a timely way, as part of an overarching plan to deliver against agreed priorities to measurable effect. You will play a leading role in the weekly planning meetings and take ownership of the activity grid.

Working collaboratively across services you will lead planning for campaign milestones and communication / engagement activity, bringing together teams to deliver integrated, insight-based, impactful communication.

You will also play a leading role in creating better evidence-based solutions to diagnose the problem from an audience perspective in order to take a united course of action and advise how to achieve better outcomes.
