The Azure IoT Air Gap Cloud team provides a globally scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platform to simplify the digital transformation for our customers. The team is looking for a hands-on, experienced technical leader who wants to shape the future where billions of smart devices autonomously connect to Azure IoT Platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers that builds, deploys, and operates all IoT services (Hub, Edge, Twins, Central, and DPS) in an Air Gap Cloud environment, initially focusing on Hub. The IoT platform supports connecting, organizing, and managing large scale of devices, bi-directional communication between the devices and the cloud with high efficiency and low latencies.
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to join the Azure IoT Air Gap Cloud team and help define our roadmap to serve high profile customers. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Candidates must have an active US Government TS/SCI security clearance and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI (with polygraph), or have an active TS/SCI (with polygraph). This role will require candidates to maintain the TS/SCI (with polygraph) clearance.
