This is an open, fun, and diverse team that is focused on building next generation common operational platforms, services, and solutions for Azure cloud. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, tackling problems that don’t have a defined solution, but require creativity and teaming to deliver meaningful business outcomes. You will leverage cutting edge Azure service, data, and ML technologies to build privacy and compliance products that are widely used across Microsoft and customers.

Responsibilities

She/he will partner with global Azure teams, privacy and security teams, and external auditors to ensure that our extensible blueprints can be leveraged by customers to build the most secure and compliant solutions on Azure. He/she would design and build a new product to show customers for Azure regulations of privacy, security, reliability, and compliance. Or he/she would design and implement the data pipeline to ensure PB level Azure’s data is private and compliant.

She/He should have demonstrated collaboration skills to work constructively across functions, groups, and time-zones. She/He should be energetic, motivated and a self-starter with a strong focus on getting things done. The candidate will need to be customer driven – clearly understands business requirements and incorporates them into offering. The candidate will have exposure to many Azure teams, and this is a fantastic opportunity for you to make a huge impact to Microsoft’s strategic cloud platform.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of solid product development and shipping experience with proficiency with at least one OOP languages: C++/C#/Java
• Excellent design, coding, independent problem solving and debugging skills, and able to ramp up on new technologies fast
• Passion for data security, privacy, and compliance
• Experience building scalable and high-available services in Cloud
• Solid CS fundamentals, fluent in multi-threaded, asynchronous programming, architecting at scale
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud platform including ARM, Compute, Storage, Networking, AAD and other services will be an added advantage
• Solid communication, and cross-discipline skills, team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent English communication skills
