The Azure Automated ML team creates software that turns anyone into a machine learning model builder – just bring data! Azure AutoML is part of AI Platform organization for creating, managing, operating and maintaining machine learning workflows. It offers our customers a comprehensive answer to: “How do I build AI into my product or business?”

Responsibilities

You will conduct research and development of Azure AutoML. You will bring knowledge of innovative technologies and collaborate with experts to further it. You will be responsible for delivering high quality design, code and contribution towards features and capabilities of the product. 

As a leader in this customer-obsessed team, you will engage with business end users of data science solutions, as well as data scientists whose favorite tools we aim to create along with fellow developers on the team. You will collaborate on solving machine learning and distributed systems problems in their full complexity and translate your solutions to automatable methods. You will drive incorporation of these customer-inspired innovations into our software. You will take a holistic ownership of your features, implementing core algorithms, documenting them, and shipping them to production. 

Your job functions include design, development and customizing of ML Models, using them to solve wide range of tasks, apply the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to increase our current models performance, contribute to the product road map and planning, contribute to the design and improvement of our end-to-end platform, Mentor and support more junior members of the team.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience writing production code in building distributed systems.
• 4+ years' experience in areas of machine learning or statistics.
• Expertise in Python, Java, C++, Scala, or C#, PyTorch/Tensorflow, Kubernetes.
• Proven software design development and debugging skills/experience.

Preferred: 

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in computer science and machine learning related fields.
• Familiarity with deep learning model architecture.
