We are the Sonar Team, part of C+AI Security. We are the creators of a large scale service sandbox service used to detect malware and phish by behavioral analysis. Our detonation platform has strict SLAs for latency & accuracy and serves as the detonation platform of choice for Office 365, Windows Defender ATP and MCAS; LinkedIn; Azure Sentinel, Office Forms etc. Our service provides malware as well as phishing protection based on combination of dynamic analysis as well as ML models. We also integrate our threat intelligence and ML based detections as well as enrich the investigation experience into #AzureSentinel.

As a fast growing business we are currently looking for experienced software engineers who are passionate about building and constantly improving large scale platform services.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Core platform team, you will be working with security experts and other engineers to develop and enhance the services needed for the detonation. We constantly strive towards creating world class services by improving our reliability, COGS, monitoring and alerting, self-healing and ease of deployments. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Design and development of highly reliable, scalable, efficient, compliant and maintainable services
• Adding and optimizing monitoring coverage, including self-healing for services you own
• Partner with internal partner teams to ensure we provide seamless onboarding experience
  Participating in the code reviews and design discussions of other engineers and give guidance/input to other engineers
• Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, service integration and geo-expansion, software performance analysis and system tuning
• Conduct periodic on call duties and drive changes back to the services based on the live site incidents
• As a senior member always look for opportunities to improve service efficiency, reliability and processes and drive changes accordingly

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years software development experience
• Excellent design, problem solving and communication skills
• Professional experience building, shipping and maintaining cloud services on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or similar

Preferred Qualifications:

• Design, development and deployment of highly maintainable backend distributed systems/services and APIs with compliant Auth (Azure Active Directory [AAD] ) models
• Strong skills in high-level programming language like C#, .net core, python and strong engineering best practices
