• • Build deep domain expertise on global infrastructure deployment technology and processes
  • Architect, design, and implement V1 cloud services in collaboration with teammates.
  • Design services with a strong focus on high availability and scalability, robustness, and observability.
  • Grow and mentor a team of developers.
  • Build software prototypes and conduct experiments to evaluate alternative architectures.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and releasing web services
• 5+ years of strong design, implementation and testing skills

Basic Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to write reliable, low defect, unit tested code
• Ability to work and communicate effectively across disciplines and teams
• Ability to provide technical leadership to other developers
• Passion for delivering customer impact and value
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering and/or equivalent industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with C#, .Net Core, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript or similar  
• Industry experience troubleshooting, investigating, and fixing production issues in large scale cloud and/or hosted environments
• Experience with building infrastructure using Microsoft Azure technology
• Proven success in Management and Leadership Roles
• Be experienced in driving large strategic and complex or ambiguous projects that span organizations, with executive visibility and many critical dependencies.
• Have immense intellectual curiosity, and a high threshold to work within highly complex and ambiguous situations.  

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
