  • We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about creating world class engineering solutions in the SAP Data service and analytics team in Redmond WA.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer will be responsible for the following: 

  • Development activities of various BI initiatives, which include ETL, SAP BW Extraction, SLT, AOE and Power BI reports.
  • Proven expertise in SAP BW & HANA Studio Architecture/Design and Data Modeling.
  • Experience in HANA SQL and HANA Calculation Views and Analytical VIews.
  • Strong SQL Scripting skills to write SQL Procedures and SQL based HANA models and views.
  • Support project initiatives within the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), various Data Marts, Master Data Management and BI Reporting.
  • Perform in-depth development, data analysis, data quality, and design for quality engineering across various databases and methodologies specific to Business Intelligence.
  • Provide input and oversight on development design decisions, best practices, and processes to a team of BI Developers.
  • Ability to multi-task various projects and tasks with tight deliverables while keeping informed of existing and evolving development best practice, industry standards and technologies.
  • Design and develop secure, maintainable, accessible, and scalable enterprise systems.
  • Design and develop large scale data integration services and solutions.
  • Leveraging data and telemetry to make decisions and driving feedback into systems design and implementation.
  • Strive for excellence in every aspect of your job including culture, communication, quality of products, engineering practices, tools etc. 
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands on experience in SAP BW Implementation experience on large scale projects for enterprise businesses.
  • 2+ years of hands on experience in SAP BW4HANA, leveraging technology such as, BODS, SDI, SDA, SLT, BPC as well as big data technology and A.I.
  • Experience in working in support role and well versed with these activities for BW4HANA.
  • Deep understanding of software lifecycle methodology and information systems development and support with deep live-site and problem-solving experience.
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines.

 

Preferred, not required:

  • Previous Experience with Microsoft Technologies; SQL Server, IIS, BizTalk, C#.
  • Experience developing project plans and managing releases with a variety of SDLC methodologies such as: Waterfall, RUP, SCRUM, or other agile methodologies.
