The PowerApps platform (part of Business Application Group) aims to be the platform of choice for building components that permit high productivity and no-code nextgen application development. The platform empowers customers to easily customize, develop, and deploy business applications that work online and offline, for consumption on mobile devices and the web, without the need to write code. The platform will power the business applications, and be the extensibility story for all of Office 365. 

Our goal is that while we continue to allow the developer/ISV personas to create applications leveraging the Apps Platform with fullest capabilities of extensions to build Apps, an increasing set of non-developer personas/business users will be able to build/modify Apps without writing any code at all. The Client infrastructure will automatically discover and adapt to the full range of extensions as always abstracting out low-level implementation detail of browsers and devices away from every kind of business app developers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development and designing applications to run at massive scale
• 8+ years of solid experience in an OO Language like C# or Java
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent or 12+ years of industry experience
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with TypeScript, front-end technologies like Redux/React  and upcoming web technologies is a plus
