Responsibilities

As an Individual Contributor, you will help us realize the vision above in many ways: 

• Enhance and integrate new verticals to Azure Synapse with focus on efficiency, scalability reliability, and security.
• Owning the Synapse components and driving them end to end, all the way from gathering requirements, development, testing, deployment to ensuring high availability post deployment.
• Contribute to the architecture & design of the Azure Data products.
• Triaging issues and implementing solutions to restore service with minimal disruption to the customer and business. Perform root cause analysis, trend analysis and postmortems.

Qualifications

Requirements

Academics: B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent degrees in Computer Science (Masters is a plus).

Experience: 8+ years of industry experience.

Successful candidates will have excellent experience in following areas:

• Enterprise products design and implementation (Java/C#)
• Experience building and shipping production grade on prem or cloud services.
• Experience building and operating online services and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Experience using agile methodologies or test-driven development (TDD).
• Committing or contributing to any Open-Source big data technologies
• Distributed systems design and implementation
• Top notch, high-energy communication skills, collaboration skills, and drive for results
• Customer obsession, passion for technology & strong analytical skills

Working experience on any of the below technologies will be an added advantage:

• Microsoft Azure Services (any)
• Kubernetes
• Machine Learning Platforms
• Log Analysis Tools
• Messaging Platforms like Kafka
