Responsibilities

You will drive and collaborate with team members and partner teams to design, build and deliver value in both the document publishing and reading experiences using primarily .NET and Azure services, and have opportunities for mentorship, career growth, and work on high-business impact areas.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the enhancement of Windows C++ documentation generator.
• Drive long-term design thinking for systems and engineering processes with simplicity and maintainability as guiding principles.
• Deliver value through a strong collaborative approach spanning many teams across geographies.
• Own and drive large critical feature areas including establishing functionality, stages and costing, work with multiple stake holders across the company and land design and architecture.
• Drive the implementation of the solution across multiple engineers, ensuring compliant, scalable, reliable and well tested code with good quality monitoring, telemetry and supportability.
• Establish and drive adoption of good coding standards and patterns.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies that take the business to the next level.
• Drive up the ease of livesite supportability in a compliant manner.
• Build a strong inclusive team by hiring, mentoring and developing engineers across all levels.
• Share Microsoft’s culture and passion for growth mindset.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in software engineer role
• 3+ years of professional C++ development experience
• Experience using Git or other distributed version control system
• Experience working in an agile, live site/devops culture that deploys code frequently and automates everything from tests to builds to infrastructure deployment
