We are looking for a passionate senior software engineer to help drive this reinvention as we build new products designed to support startups and entrepreneurs around the world. 

You should be an experienced, motivated, and pragmatic software engineer who has a strong desire to create intuitive and impactful experiences that will be validated using a data-driven approach. You will work on designing and delivering experiences to build a product to help every founder accelerate their business journey with Microsoft. 

Responsibilities

• Work with startups and our product team to understand our customers’ needs to make scalable design decisions and build a product from the ground up. 
• Develop full stack web applications for global scale and fully own delivery of features and SRE support once shipped. 
• Support and enhance existing applications and deployments. 
• Conduct design reviews and review code to maintain high quality and enforce best practices. 

• Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally to deliver product features. 

Qualifications

Basic skills  

• 5+ years full stack programming experience  

• 3+ years building and deploying web applications and APIs in C#. 
• 3+ years working with a cloud system such as Azure or AWS. 

Preferred skills  

• Experience working at startups and building consumer-facing products. 
• Experience improving services using alerting, monitoring, telemetry, etc. 
• Strong data modeling and database skills. 
• Familiar with authentication patterns for users and external APIs. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Mathematics or Physics or IT related technical discipline or 5+ years of industry software engineering experience.
• Familiar with CI/CD best practices.
