We are searching for a strong self-driven Security Researcher for Mobile Security Research Team. Our Research team is a global team of antimalware researchers, advanced threat hunters, and agile malware responders at the forefront of protecting Microsoft customers from computer security threats. We are an industry leading threat research lab that responds to customer issues with malware and use cutting edge antimalware techniques to help keep our customers safe. Responsibilities

• Conduct research that yield new insights, theories, analyses, data, algorithms, and prototypes that advance state-of-the-art of Network security and protection 
• Investigate, analyze and learn from security researchers, attackers and real incidents in order to develop durable detection strategies across the entire kill-chain or product enhancements.
• Work with other internal and external teams to forge new and improve existing partnerships that help mature the product
• Collaborate with other researchers, coordinators, and developers to improve the protection capabilities of the products

Qualifications

Basic qualifications: 

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with at least 8+ years of computer security industry experience with Network security, knowledge of security/threat landscape for Mobile Platform. 
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals, WiFi Security, Application Protocols, and modern attacks carried out over network and how to detect them. 
• Hands-on experience of simulating various network attacks such as ARP Spoofing, DNS Hijacking, WiFi attacks etc
• Experience of building complex lab to demonstrate various network attacks
• Deep knowledge about detecting complex network threats such as MiTM attacks
• Excellent cross-group and interpersonal skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• Network protocols, Application Protocols, WiFi Security, MiTM attacks, Network Proxy concepts, Attack Simulation, Lab building experience, Knowledge of IDS/IPS, Reversing mobile applications would be plus, Hands-on experience with network tools
• Offensive security research experience in Network Security
• Knowledge of automation language (Python, Perl, Shell etc)
