The role of the Quality, Risk & Assurance division is to help keep the BBC safe secure and relevant. The Risk & Regulatory Compliance function sits within Quality, Risk and Assurance and ensures that we perform and deliver on all risk management activities across the BBC, in line with the quality standards set. The team supports the wider business in doing this by providing subject matter experts, advice, tools, systems, processes and reporting.
We are now looking for a Senior QRA Business Partner for Compliance to lead up with area of QRA.
This role is responsible for developing and executing a Compliance programme across all of the BBC, providing expert policy and advisory services to the BBC and putting into place operational processes, systems and controls to ensure that we are not at risk, and providing regulatory technical support to the Group on monitoring and assurance arrangements as outlined in the relevant Compliance Monitoring Programme.
You will also provide any regulatory support required to the BBC, and monitor performance as activity grows, reporting where necessary.
We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working in a large complex organisation where you have developed and executed a compliance programme. Experience of providing effective compliance policy and advisory services is key as well as providing effective compliance policy and advisory services to the Group, including supporting appropriate integration to the firms operational processes, systems and controls.
Finally, as with all of our roles the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders is key, as we often need to take quite complex principles and break them down effectively to explain them to a variety of audiences verbally and in writing.
A legal background is preferred although not essential.
