What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, execute and improve effective manual testing strategies under Agile/Scrum to meet all project constraints
• Contribute to the design and development of reusable and maintainable automated QA regression test scripts
• Perform functional testing according to the test plan and maintain test data
• Assist in the planning, creation and control of the test environment(s)
• Work with application development teams and business users to develop and validate test requirements
• Work with the developers to identify the test scenarios based upon the User Requirement and Technical Requirement documents
• Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts
• Contribute to the technical direction of the team while advising and mentoring other QA team members

What you‘ll bring:

• Familiarity with different types of testing (system integration, regression, functional etc.) and an ability to plan/execute accordingly
• The ability to develop test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures used in computer programming
• Knowledge of Jira, Github, Test Rails and Charles Proxy
• The ability to detect, report, track and explain defects effectively
• The ability to write clear, concise and effective correspondence, test plans, procedures and scenarios in accordance with policies
• Hands-on experience with directing the test activities of small teams

The Office:

Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. There’s also plenty of parking, bike shelters and showers.

On campus you’ll find six subsidised restaurants and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.
