Duties & Responsibilities:
Defining the detail of the proposition delivery (product/proposition specifications/customer journeys) utilising or building the necessary market and customer insight to fully inform the proposition
Facilitating the production of the necessary product and proposition specifications to ensure absolute clarity on what will be delivered
Reviewing existing product/ proposition and customer experiences, identifying new opportunities, benchmarking vs leading competitors and best in class to identify opportunities to improve and better meet needs of customers and drive profitability
Identifying customer needs and solutions utilising quantitative data and qualitative evidence, with regular reports to Stakeholders
Presenting learnings and insight to a wide range of stakeholders
Leading development and shaping of business case assumptions
Producing necessary documentation to support sign off of proposals through the relevant governance processes, ensuring focus and outcomes are consistent with Aviva and FCA expectations
Working with market research teams to carry out quantitative and qualitative research as required
Working with relevant business areas (IT, Change, operations, UX, Design etc) to clarify requirements and ensure successful delivery of required outcomes
Developing, demonstrating, and maintaining a detailed understanding of the proposition portfolio including customer needs, segmentation, service model, costs, revenue and value
Skills & Experience required
A customer centric approach
Extensive experience of proposition/ product development
Proven track record of implementing and driving change
Good understanding of marketing & product in the insurance /financial services sector
Innovative thinking
Experience of managing high profile deliverables
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Confidence in constructively challenging the status quo
