Our Global Corporate & Specialty (GCS) division has started the search for a Senior Property Risk Consultant to join their ARMS (Aviva Risk Management Solutions) team.
In this role, you will focus on completing risk engineering surveys on client sites, managing client accounts and delivering class-leading risk management services and solutions to our customers.
You can be home based, in any part of the UK, as regular travel both regionally and nationally will be required.

What does the day to day involve?
This role is predominantly managing Property Risk Engineering programmes although involvement in wider cross class programmes spearheaded by an Account Engineer is part of the day to day role
You maybe required to act as the Account Engineer where the predominant risk engineering activity is Property focused
Working closely with underwriting teams and providing risk engineering reports and solutions
Completing reviews for new business and renewals; building positive relationships with account partners
Embracing innovation and implementing strategic, critical initiatives to manage and increase the risk quality across accounts
Acting as a technical representative and role model within our team - coaching and mentoring less experienced colleagues to improve capability
Maintaining & developing personal technical knowledge & expertise - keeping abreast of current developments, changes in legislation & Risk Management trends
Skills & experience we would like to see:
Significant property loss prevention experience 
Ability to plan and organise own work in line with business objectives
Ability to co-ordinate work activities with colleagues and 3rd parties who are providing support to our customers
Detailed knowledge of current risk management and loss prevention practices for specific disciplines with property  
Excellent co-ordination skills and experience of leading risk engineering programmes for large demanding account accounts with highly developed presentation skills 
Background of account support/leading and evidence of rolling out new initiatives 
Ability to analyse, collate and interpret underwriting information to ensure pro-active risk management decisions are made 
Excellent customer engagement skills to influence and negotiate with key contacts in the marketplace 
Relevant industry-specific qualifications such as NEBOSH, AIRM, ACII, and Fire Engineer qualifications would be good to see
