The BBC's Children’s & Education Product team works in partnership with our Children’s & Education Editorial team to deliver amazing digital experiences that inform, educate, entertain, and help to inspire young people to fulfil their potential.
From the provision of a world-class set of learning experiences & support tools via Bitesize & BBC Teach to a suite of engaging & fun Children’s Apps & Games for brands such as Horrible Histories, Blue Peter & Hey Duggee, the Children's & Education Product team deliver some of the UK’s most popular websites, games, and apps.
Our Agile team(s) are made up of hard-working, supportive & enthusiastic software engineers, testers, UX designers, project managers, content producers, product owners, business analysts and design researchers, all striving to create enlightening products & experiences for our young audiences, parents & teachers. We are also at the start of an exciting journey to re-imagine our online services, making them more personally relevant and fit for the future.
Within the Project Management function, we manage the digital portfolio of Children’s & Education Games & Apps focused project(s), with support from a range of 3rd party suppliers, and are also starting to manage an array of internal development project(s) to re-imagine our online services. To maintain and enhance our extensive array of products & online services, we are now looking for a diligent and collaborative Senior Project Manager who can adapt to working on multiple 3rd party projects and / or internal Agile development project(s), that contribute to our departmental and wider Product Group goals & targets.
