Are you an experienced Production Accountant? Want to work across a busy slate of mixed genres including Sports & Non-Scripted programmes?

A rapidly growing independent production company has a requirement for a Senior Production Accountant to cover a maternity leave for a 12 month period.

Key responsibilities:

• Work closely with Production Execs & Managers to ensure accurate reporting to the funder/broadcaster
• Set up and manage the accounting systems;
• Supervise/provide leadership and support to the location production accountants working overseas on a couple of productions;
• Operate in multi-currencies and run production cash-flows both internal and external;
• Produce consolidated weekly financial cost reporting;
• Reconcile day to day accounting and financial reporting against budget/cost managers;
• Deal with problematic finance issues related to filming
• Issue invoices to broadcasters
• Run production clear up & close down procedures

Key requirements:

• You must already have experience working as a Senior Production Accountant
• Experience of HMRC tax incentives for high end TV productions
• Experience liaising with the industries top broadcasters re funding
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
• Able to manage end to end production accounts from set up through to close down
