As a Senior Product Manager in our OTT team you will be responsible for managing and driving our strategy with a wide range of global partners (i.e. Amazon, Apple, Google Samsung, LG, Sony) through content prominence and other third party platform opportunities (i.e. voice, split-screen, social sharing) maximising the presence of NOW and Sky Ticket on these devices.

What you’ll do:

• Drive the launch and ongoing 3rd party relationship management of NOW TV / SKY Ticket across a range of well-known and leading global technology platforms, defining the scope and requirements and steering the key decisions needed to ensure a successful partnership

• Maximise the value of Sky’s presence on partner platforms within the increasingly crowded OTT streaming landscape. Develop deeper integration and engagement touchpoints – building the case for specific opportunities, holding to our product principles and quality thresholds whilst defining the best product experience for the customer.

• Build and evangelise a laser-sharp understanding across our 3rd party platform experience and customers, using data and insight from a variety of sources. Use this understanding to inform and deliver on our distribution strategy and roadmap prioritisation.

• Become the go-to subject matter authority for the various content/capability integration across our partner devices and ensure a detailed understanding of latest trends and thinking in this area.

• Define solutions to complex customer and business problems through collaboration with multiple parts of the business and a thorough understanding of the broader context.

• Develop and lead our brilliant ongoing strategic product relationships with key partners alongside our commercial relationship owners. Ensure regular and effective partner engagement to share roadmaps and key strategic developments, find opportunities for further collaboration and innovation

What you’ll bring:

• Thought-leadership in a constantly evolving environment. Practical experience and a passion for delivering OTT video on TVs and streaming devices is crucial to the role

• The ability to spot opportunities and to translate those into valuable product features and capabilities, that will benefit our customers and our business

• Expertise in defining and implementing a longer-term product strategy whilst also driving resolution of complex problems on daily basis

• Strong experience (5+ years) working with and managing partner relationships and influencing technology, business development and commercial teams

• A high level of competency in understanding technical principles and solutions alongside a proven track record in delivering and running complex products

• An understanding of the streaming landscape and how modern video-on-demand platforms work is highly desirable.

• Experience and understanding of optimising products through data analysis and insight will be critical
