As the Senior Procurement Manager – Procurement Intelligence you will be leading our pioneering Procurement intelligence capability in our Sky Group Procurement Centre of Excellence. The role will involve partnering with all procurement leaders and their teams in Sky and Comcast/NBCU as well as other functions such as Finance, Data and Technology.

What you’ll do:

• Define procurement intelligence strategy together with stakeholders, lead execution and be accountable for results
• Identify, define and translate business requirements for procurement intelligence including spend, savings, supplier categorisation, spend routes, sustainability & diversity
• Design & support the build of procurement intelligence together with a virtual team. Maintain and control the results and usability. Manage the day-to-day activities of a long-term seconded Data Scientist
• Instigate & lead further development and improvements on our procurement intelligence initiatives, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to Enterprise-wide (Comcast/NBCU/Sky) procurement intelligence initiatives
• Be a valuable business partner for our procurement leadership and all procurement teams
• Maintain senior-level stakeholder relationships, in particular cross-enterprise relationships with Comcast, NBCU & internal departments (i.e. Data, Finance, IT) with appropriate regular communication, ensuring clear understanding and alignment between their strategic plans and Procurement’s direction

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of proven procurement experience in multiple procurement areas, such as Category Management and Procurement Processes
• Experience and understanding of business intelligence in an international, multi-market environment
• Track records in project management with a high proportion on technology or processes including setting and monitoring of governance models
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills at senior level is key
• It would be a bonus if you have experience in defining procurement processes, as well as identifying and driving improvements

• It would be desirable to have experience in Sky’s procurement landscape: Ariba, SAP, VIM, Power BI, Per Angusta

Team Overview:

The Sky Procurement team is approx. 70 strong, based in London, Milan, Munich & Livingston, working with colleagues in the US (Comcast, NBCU). Procurement is organised around 6 categories: Professional Services; Consumer Product & Network Technologies; Global Software & Content Licensing; Broadcast, Infrastructure & Production; Marketing & Media; Business & Corporate Services. In addition to the category teams, we have a Centre of Excellence providing support to source-to-pay optimisation, supplier compliance, responsible procurement and procurement intelligence.
