About the role
WooliesX is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Privacy Specialist to join the Privacy & Customer Trust Centre of Enablement (CoE). The Privacy & Customer Trust CoE operates as a central team that sets the strategy for, and drives privacy and responsible data use uplift across, Woolworths.
This includes the management of privacy risk, PIAs, governance, training and awareness, data ethics, incident management, resource development, compliance and reporting, evaluation and enhancements. As a Senior Privacy Specialist, you will be an integral member of the CoE team and will deliver privacy and customer trust solutions for WooliesX. Critical to this role will be the building of stakeholder relationships within WooliesX and the Woolworths business units.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for an individual with proven experience working in a Privacy related role, who can apply commercial acumen to complex business problems and work with a broad range of stakeholders across WooliesX.
Requirements:
â— Proven experience in Privacy or a related field
â— Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field including Business, Law, Technology, Privacy or related
â— Proficient knowledge of Privacy Act, Australian Privacy Principles, OAIC guidance
â— Experience in PIA methodologies and privacy by design
â— Risk Management
â— Agile ways of working experience
â— Stakeholder Management
â— Strategy Development
â— Management and Leadership experience is beneficial but not essential for this role
â— Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills including presentations
â— IAPP certification or other related studies in privacy, governance, ethics
