The BT Security Advisory Services business is a specialist organisation that sits within BT Global, and is responsible, across Enterprise, Global and global governments, for provision of high end cyber consulting expertise within client accounts by creating value, identifying opportunity, influencing design of solutions and differentiating BT Security propositions, through an in depth technical understanding of the threat management portfolio and the complex cyber threat landscape.
This role is part of the Security Advisory Senior Leadership team with end to end responsibility for the Global Cyber and Threat Management consultancy practice, providing expert advice and guidance on all matters relating to cyber security. The role holder will lead a team of experts in the delivery of customer facing advisory engagements across the whole lifecycle to deliver significant benefit and thought leadership to the end client. In addition, the role holder will be key in the development of new advisory services and growth plans.
You will be based in one of our UK strategic hubs with travel as and when required by the role.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Accountable for the Global Security Cyber Consulting team designed to work closely with customers to assess and develop their cyber security through a practitioner led approach, leveraging Protect BT as market differentiator
Identifies and pursues complex Cyber Security opportunities as a standalone security proposition or as a significant contributing component of major deals led by the vertical account teams
Establishes longstanding relationships - both externally with client CISOs and their leadership teams and internally with account teams - to pursue, negotiate and win innovative and commercially compelling new cybersecurity business
Drives the growth of strategic repeatable solutions tailored to client requirements and drawn from the BT Cyber Portfolio, influence over the continuous evolution of the portfolio and development of extensible design patterns to drive efficiency and accuracy of selling cyber solutions
Provides influence on the strategic direction of Protect BT and IT Security Strategy and policy within BT through the knowledge and understanding gained from clients and industry peers
You'll have the following skills & experience
Extensive experience in client engagement, account management and consulting within the cybersecurity discipline
Expert knowledge of the Cyber defence discipline as applied to enterprise and government markets
Matrix team leadership and coaching within BT, Tiger Teaming with other organisations and client side deployed teams
Excellent strategic leader with a proven track record of building high performing, well-motivated teams and capabilities.
Highly skilled in multiple cybersecurity disciplines, with a broad understanding of topical cybersecurity issues that enables informed and articulate conversation at all levels of a clients organisation.
