Responsibilities and skills required

• Administer and monitor underwriting authority and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations and rating tools

• Contribute to new product rollout and appetite extensions

• Review technical, legal issues & developments and produce proposals to reduce risk and/or exploit opportunities and/or reduce blockages

• Liaise with key internal stakeholders in Technical Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Risk & Governance

• Deputise for Head of Professional Indemnity where required

• Create and maintain strong embedded broker and customer relationships across PI
