The opportunity

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior People Operations Officer (Permanent full time opportunity) to join our growing People Process & Services team, which is charged with providing active support to our customers in relation to a wide variety of HR/people processes and developing smooth functioning HR processes and implementing automated fit for purpose solutions. You will participate in programs of work and/or initiatives that enhance or deliver continuous improvement across holistic Position Management & Role Description processes.

 

Reporting to the People Process & Services Lead you will be provided with the support and a collaborative work environment to assist with creating and implementing new ways of working, to build and improve on existing people practices and lead the documentation of processes and support tools. Working closely with a variety of stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to be involved in many challenging and rewarding process improvement projects that will genuinely make a difference.

 

The home location for this position is Burwood however we encourage a hybrid / flexible working style.

About you

 

We are looking for a passionate individual who is highly motivated, creative and resourcful, with a background and experience in position mangement, documenting process flows, performing analysis and designing solutions to implement more efficient processes for a large and complex agency.

 

You demonstrate strong attention to detail, and the ability to undertake research and analyse the results to recommend a solution.

 

You have a customer-centric focus, the ability to identify business requirements and understand the place of tools and processes in delivering HR process improvement outcomes for your customers. You are proactive and enjoy working both independently and collaborating with a team to achieve results.

 

 

Essential Requirements

 

  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and HR systems

  • Data analysis and stakeholder management are desirable

  • Ability to take initiative, think creatively and problem solve

 

 

Salary and Benefits


This position is a Transport Service Grade 8 ($120,423 - $134,872) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
