Group Network Services platform (GNSP) which always has a very lively roadmap for delivering projects to design network solutions across multiple countries and variety of technologies from Mobile, Broadband, Voice, CDN, Internet peering, Data Centres (Private and Public cloud), with a mix of physical and virtual network components and automation first approach. We are looking for a promising and seasoned Sr. Network Design engineer with NetOps capabilities to be part of the design team.

What you’ll do:

• Design Carrier grade network solutions for projects, aligning with GNSP design standards
• Deliver designs with service provider technologies for supporting IP underlay for carrier routing, Broadband, CDN, Peering and Transit (P&T), Datacentre (cloud interconnects, Intranet connectivity), Mobile services, Network virtualisation solutions.
• Elicit requirements from stakeholders to design optimal solutions. Convey Risks, obtain sign-off, timely escalate issues to management, and send weekly project updates.
• Author both high level and low-level design documents to support Telco services and be responsible for software/hardware selection, perform bug scrubs and work with test and delivery engineers to review test plans, defects, test reports, MOP and change tickets.
• Act as a design authority, review strawman proposals and designs produced by other specialists in the team and provide technical leadership to them.
• Participate in vendor selection by providing technical requirements into RFP document and by doing technical evaluation including Technical Proof of Concept testing.

What you’ll bring:

• CCIE Service Provider Lab certified (Desirable)
• Strong experience on ISIS, MPLS, RSVP, TE, QOS, LACP, BGP, BFD, ETHOAM, HSRP, VPLS, Pseudo-wires, VRRP, SNMP, Netflow, IPv4/v6, 6PE, 6VPE, netflow, Segment routing, EPE (egress peer engineering), EVPN and Telemetry.
• Understanding of distributed Hardware architecture of Nokia, Cisco NCS 5k, ASR9K and their operating systems
• Working Knowledge of GIT for managing configuration template.
• Desirable skills:

a. DDOS (Detection, mitigation), flowspec, RTBH.

b. F5 LTM, GTM functions.

c. Python programming, JINJA, NETCONF, YANG models. Ability do work on JIRA and Confluence.
