A leading manufacturer of state of the art machinery are recruiting for a senior mechanical design engineer to join their exciting team in the Southampton area.
Are you able to lead key design aspects of NPI projects? Are you interested in working as a technical authority within a mechanical engineering team to provide direction, feedback and approval of designs? Do you have experience of leading projects and overseeing full product lifecycle? If so, you could be the candidate we are looking for!
This role will also have a large degree of analysis work, including analysis of stress, heat transfer, fluid flow, tolerance on assemblies. bolted joints and rotating components combined with a strong appreciation of the electrical aspects of the product.
The following experience is required as a minimum for this position;
Salary range on offer for this role is £48,000-£55,000 (DOE), a competitive benefits package and flexible working.
