Across the length and breadth of Aotearoa you are never too far from our work, our roots lie in infrastructure with 100 years of experience, from safe holistic and integrated transport solutions to climate & disaster resilience and adaptation - we are making the everyday better.

Our Auckland Civil Structures team specialise in the design, assessment and asset management of civil structures from ports, bridges, cut & cover tunnels to airport works and rail. With our strong pipeline line of Port / Marine work for our team, we have an opportunity for a Senior Marine Structural Engineer to join our Auckland based team.

Every day will provide you with new challenges and look a little different, overall, this role will see you:

• Leading design and delivery of complex marine infrastructure projects for clients in private, local council and defence sectors. Design management experience is not essential but welcomed.
• Assisting existing and new clients with asset management strategies for existing marine infrastructure including routine maintenance, repairs, assessment (including seismic), strengthening, retrofitting and re-purposing.
• Fostering the growth of marine structural capabilities within the team and providing active support to graduate development.

About you

You love to learn, share knowledge and are someone who can bring a fresh perspective to ensure the development of the people around you, you constantly seek better practice for the overall quality of our work and our client experience. You are a chartered structural engineer (or working towards chartership) with a record of delivering marine and port projects in a similar consultancy environment. Being a values-driven individual, you will enjoy sharing the successes of your colleagues and delivering excellence.
