About this role

This job matters as Digital CU functions are undergoing transformation to Agile ways of working and as a role holder, you will be actively working with and influencing the senior stakeholders and will ensure that a suitably adapted Agile framework and mindset is driven from top to bottom including managing support for the team reporting to you.

In this job, you’ll be responsible for setting up a brand new Agile framework keeping the organization’s needs at the forefront while continuously improving the Agile maturity across Digital Corporate Unit Functions(CU).

You’ll live and breathe, build, measure, learn and you will lead by example a team of agile coaches setting their priorities and direction, keeping them in lock step for a cohesive transformation. You’ll be responsible for making sure that we constantly improve how we work to ensure we deliver more value for less effort.

You'll have the following responsibilities

Works at a strategic level to define an Agile Transformation Journey and create a roadmap  across CU Functions.

Works at Senior Manager level and above to gain sponsorship  and get them drive to agile mindset across the CU.

Drive the delivery and implementation of the Agile strategy across the Digital community.

Lead a high performing team of Agile Coaches to grow the effectiveness and maturity of our squads.

Be a role model for agile development within the organization, ensuring that all stakeholders understand the agile principles and the part they need to play to contribute to successful delivery.

Ensure all teams maintain a cycle of continual improvement, acting on feedback solicited from stakeholders during the transformation.

Alignment of new ways of working with existing legacy deliveries outside of Digital by being the catalyst for the build, measure, learn culture.

Responsible for the facilitation and enhancement of knowledge sharing across Digital including advising and assisting in integrating an Agile development process with existing processes.

Create a sustainable Agile capability within the organisation to reduce reliance on external coaching.

Mentoring, Coaching, Training, guiding the change process, developing leadership in others and guiding organisational agility.

Facilitates the overall organisational transition providing ongoing support to agile projects and leadership 

You'll have the following skills & experience

Systems thinking - You provide technical expertise to evaluate the impacts and links between structure, people, process and technology. You think through the whole systems context, new perspectives and insight before taking on projects.

Experience leading large-scale Agile/Digital transformations.

Experience mentoring and coaching Agile teams, teams of teams and Executives.

Experience creating and delivering interactive training workshops. 12+ years of work experience at different levels. 5+ of Telecom Industry experience. 2+ Agile coaching experience at the Enterprise level. Scaled Agile Certification (SAFe, Less, DaD, Scrum@Scale, etc.)

Deep knowledge of team and multi-team Agile frameworks.

Expert in-person and remote facilitation skills.

Remote coaching and training experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong presentation skills.

Ability to develop strong, collaborative working relationships across the business to drive delivery of the Group IT commitments.

Stakeholder management skills as role holder is required to influence across multiple teams in Group IT.

Negotiation skills as role holder will be required to influence outcomes and delivery methods that optimise the Group IT Operations.

Identify opportunities to use collaborative approaches and continuous improvement.

You contribute as a subject matter expert or content owner.

Strong coaching and communication skills to handle and communicate in different situations
