This role sits within Sky Studios, Sky’s original programming arm across Europe, responsible for delivering world-class Sky Originals to Sky across the UK, Germany and Italy.

What you’ll do:

In this role, you’ll join the team that tells the story of Sky Studios, our ambition, and our content to a global audience. You will:

Lead marketing & PR activity for Sky Studios internationally, working closely with broadcasters and platforms around the world to support scripted title campaigns

Devise and execute industry and corporate communications activity for Sky Studios, working closely with colleagues across Sky and the wider Comcast Group

Work closely with Sky’s consumer marketing & PR teams in our home territories (UK, DE, and IT) to align on activity and asset delivery for international

Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of international marketing & PR activity for Sky Studios

Pitch in with other communications activity – both internal and external – across Sky Studios and Sky Studios Elstree

What you’ll bring:

This role is part of a small team and so it’s key that you are able to juggle multiple priorities and turn your hand to a variety of different functions. This role will mostly be weighted towards external communications however, you’ll need to bring a broad range of skills and understanding from across marketing, internal communications, PR, branding, social media, and talent management. You will bring:

A solid and rounded foundation in both corporate and consumer PR, gained in TV and other relevant sectors such as film, technology, products, or the wider media industry

A good understanding of the TV industry and the international media landscape

Experience of working with high-profile stakeholders and managing competing priorities, interests, and time-zones

Passion and love for all types of telly; you’ll likely have subscriptions to all the streaming services, but also be a fan of the soaps

An entrepreneurial flair to your work – spotting opportunities, making things happen and using your sound judgement to make decisions quickly

An ability to follow, shape and challenge processes. As a new and nimble function, you will be key to shaping how we operate

A cool head when under pressure and a willingness to muck in with the wider team
