The opportunity 

The Senior Manager IT Business Management will be responsible for key IT business management activities required to ensure the smooth and effective operation of IT services across the business. – these include IT financial management (financial models, cost recovery, chargeback) IT vendor management, service performance management and continuous improvement.

Key aspects of the role also include;

• Financial management for IT, including planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and control, ensuring a consistent and transparent approach to the financial management of business technology projects is in place, rolling up to a portfolio view.
• Establish a service performance monitoring framework, enable the communication of IT performance to business customers.
• Collaborate with PMO to provide an aggregate view of progress against the roadmap, capacity and budget.

The Senior Manager IT Business Management will be a challenging and high profile role, managing a function covering multiple strategic partners to deliver consistent IT services.

This is a five-year fixed-term, full-time opportunity until October 2026

About you 

Experience in a Senior IT customer management and businesss partnering role with proven ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders will be essential. 

Other requirements for success in this role will include; 

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Project Management, Business, or Finance  
• Proven success in all aspects of large scale Project Management and/or a commercial environment that included IT delivery.
• Strong commercial acumen with an ability to accurately capture and document requirements and articulate IT value across the business
