The team

 

The Corporate Services division is accountable for stakeholder management, public affairs, internal communication, marketing and campaigns and community engagement, to ensure quality and consistency.

 

The team also delivers financial management, systems, performance reporting and guidance in monitoring risk to the Sydney Metro Executive, Board and external stakeholders.

 

 

The opportunity

 

We have a temporary, fixed-term opportunity for a Senior Manager Business Process & Performance to join us at Sydney Metro within Corporate Services until June 2024. This role is based in the Sydney CBD and other site locations as required.

 

As an experienced Senior Manager, you will lead and develop the organisation’s business process management capability, supporting Sydney Metro’s strategic focus and improving operational efficiencies.

 

You develop and lead process improvement projects in the areas which improve the effectiveness of Corporate Services delivery and outcomes for business areas across Sydney Metro.  

 

You are highly experienced in managing multiple stakeholders and building relationships internally and externally, while maintaining and developing a collaborative culture for your team.

 

 

The primary responsibilities for the Senior Manager, Business Process & Performance are:

 

Lead, develop and maintain business process management governance, framework, and tools

Oversee the design, analysis and enhancements of business and operational processes

Enable the delivery of efficient and value for money projects and strategic outcomes

Initiate and lead process reviews and support process owners, leaders, and other key roles within the organisation

Assess process gaps and risks, identify improvement opportunities, set enhanced processes and performance measures

Provide best-practice guidance and support to foster a culture of process management and improvement within the organisation

Support the optimisation of the Corporate Services Agreement

Work collaboratively with process owners to provide support & identify process improvement solutions

Provide quality assurance on key governance, reporting, and planning documents

About you

 

You are required to have proven experience in leading business process reviews and/or continuous improvement programs for multi-discipline partners/stakeholders, preferably in major infrastructure or transport fields. Relevant tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in business process or continuous improvement methodology (e.g. Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA)  and/or relevant experience
