The Senior Marketing Assurance Manager drives the compliance strategy for marketing and helps provide guidance and governance for marketing processes and advertising campaigns.

What you’ll do:

• You will provide the overall strategic leadership of the team and manage and interact with senior management across the business.
• Assist and coach marketing teams on how to apply the legal guidance on the Marketing Guidance Hub (MGH)
• Provide regular updates on changes to rules and regulation and outputs of ASA complaints
• Run monthly audits across all marketing channels to ensure compliance
• Ensure business compliance with the Direct Marketing Policy
• Ensure legally approved consent capture wording and principles are complied with across all marketing journeys
• Handle operational marketing complaints notified to Sky by the Advertising Standards Authority, Trading Standards or other regulators in line with the process

What you’ll bring:

• You’ll be a great adaptable leader, a confident and influential communicator and have the ability to operate autonomously although you’ll have the support and regular time with the Head of Operational Compliance.
• Have strong strategic, analytical and operational skills to drive and maintain Sky’s compliance record and continuously improve efficiency.
• Have knowledge of the Advertising Standards & CAP Codes
• Happy to work on own initiative and as part of a team and comfortable with meeting the challenges of tight deadlines and prioritizing workload.
• Problem solving & influencing skills.
• Strong communicator both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to present to both junior and senior management internally and externally

COO-Ops

The Marketing Assurance Team sits within the Operational Compliance Team within COO Ops. In collaboration with the Consume Legal Team, we focus on marketing compliance assurance by providing the marketing teams with the relevant information, toolkits and training to ensure best practice marketing across all routes to market. The products we support include TV/Glass, Broadband/Talk, Mobile, NOW and Sky Connect across the UK and Irish markets.
