Team Overview:

Our Global OTT team develops and supports technologies for Sky, globally. No matter the device, the time or the place, we make sure that engaging large, diverse audiences with premium entertainment is possible. Our vision is to deliver the world’s best entertainment.

“As part of Global OTT Technology you’ll be joining one of our Peacock TV app teams, helping to deliver exciting new features to our growing audience of international customers. You’ll primarily be responsible for working with your fellow developers, analysts and testers to develop new functionality, also having the opportunity to help in defining best practices and creating better tooling” -Engineering Manager

What you’ll do:

• Develop new user-facing features
• Help your team in solving coding issues and developing best practices
• Innovate and introduce new technologies to the team
• Optimise your code, and your team’s code, for performance
• Work with business analysts, project managers and other stakeholders in order to understand features

What you‘ll bring:

• Strong development experience in JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript and HTML5
• Knowledge of HTTP(s), REST and JSON
• Good understanding of and experience with CI tools (Jenkins, Concourse)
• The ability to work well in a team, being self-driven and eager to learn
• Creative thinking and analytical skills, with attention to detail
• Kotlin experience (would be an advantage)
• Experience in development for TV devices (would also be an advantage)

The Office:

Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. There’s also plenty of parking, bike shelters and showers.

On campus you’ll find six subsidised restaurants and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.
