POSITION SUMMARY

• A highly experienced communications professional, skilled in developing and delivering integrated communications strategies, preferably in a complex environment involving multiple stakeholders
• Experienced in a range of communication disciplines - including external communications, issues and reputation management, stakeholder engagement and media and content development
• Able to operate successfully in an environment of competing priorities, against an ongoing brief to produce high quality materials in a client service culture

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Internal Communications Adviser on a fixed term basis in Communications & Engagement, within Homes Victoria

The Communications and Engagement Branch is the custodian of the Homes Victoria story, brand and public facing messages. The branch takes an evidence-based approach to supporting change and positive culture and will deliver progressive and best practice external and internal communications, engagement, digital and media services.

The branch maintains specialist expertise in the disciplines of:

• Strategic communications planning and market research
• Public engagement strategy, implementation and evaluation
• Social media and video production
• Website planning, maintenance and publishing
• Graphic design, events, copywriting and speechwriting
• Internal communications strategy and implementation.

The Senior Internal Communications Adviser is responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of internal communications activities to support the work of Homes Victoria. The purpose of this role is to support and build on the vision, values and reputation of Homes Victoria through the coordination of timely, tailored, persuasive and impactful communications to Homes Victoria staff and other internal stakeholders.

As our ideal candidate, you will be required to demonstrate: * Participate in and help lead the planning, resourcing, implementation and evaluation of internal communications activities for Homes Victoria and its projects.

• Work collaboratively with the Office of the Deputy Secretary and work cross-functionally to facilitate consistent and high standard internal communications that meet the needs of Homes Victoria's staff and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a forward plan of communication work and manage available resources and priorities to support the timely delivery of work against that plan.
