We're at a pivotal point for the New Zealand Health System where integration is critical in ensuring the performance and efficient access to national services and datasets. The Integration team is heavily involved in supporting the Covid technology response and modernisation of business and sector technology and practices. We are looking to grow and enrich the existing Integration practice as it transitions over to Health NZ, creating a high performing DevOps team that will be building and delivering digital platforms that will provide critical health services to our whanau, tamariki, and wider community.

The Senior Integration Developer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and implementing integration systems for applications. The scope includes analysis, design, development, and implementation of large-scale enterprise integration solutions. You will monitor and resolve production issues, engaging with service users, stakeholders and customers. You will also provide expertise on system and data analysis, architecture, and design and identify improvements.

  Ngā PÅ«kenga me ngā Wheako – Skills & Experience: 

• Significant hands on integration development experience building web services and APIs in an Agile environment
• Technical expertise in API and web services and standards – ideally FHIR
• Knowledge of Kanban, Scrum and Agile with an ability to uplift capability in this space
• Customer centred approach to troubleshooting, triage and issue resolution of API products
• Superior people skills, with strong relationship building capability
• Has worked in complex organisations and is adept at communicating with and supporting diverse stakeholders across all levels of the organisation and those outside it
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
