Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.

Reporting directly to the Chief Digital Officer, our Senior Information Management Adviser has a key role in delivering solutions to meet information needs of the Commission. The role sits within the Information Technology and Services Team.

As Senior Advisor you will:

• Play the leading role in information management for Te Kawa Mataaho
• Have strategic responsibility for our system obligations (e.g. Public Record Act)
• Own our information management training and awareness programme

In this role you will have the opportunity to shape our information management strategies and practices for the future. Our internal policies are up to date and we have recently completed our Archives audit. You will be committed to delivering an excellent service, continuously improving our practice, and making connections across work areas.

We are looking for someone who has:

• the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to build meaningful relationships and networks
• experience on-boarding staff on information obligations in other organisations
• ability to lead the training and awareness programme for the Commission
• experience with modern document management solutions
• experience with Sharepoint would be an advantage, although training can be provided
