Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Implementation Manager to support the delivery of logistics solutions from the business development stage through to the transformation of customer requirements into an operationally ready state. 

This role will be responsible for major programmes of work, with full accountability for people leadership, project planning, resource planning, budget management, project governance and strategic process improvement.

Responsibilities key to the role will include but not be limited to:

• Lead a project team to deliver customer implementations to the agreed scope, budget and schedule.
• Lead warehouse and transport projects across a diverse range of industries and business units
• Drive the identification and implementation of innovative new methods, processes or systems for delivering projects  
• Manage risks, issues and dependencies across multiple projects and program streams
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with project delivery partners, vendors and stakeholders internally and externally

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 5-10 years experience in Logistics/Supply Chain
• Project and/or Operational experience in Warehouse or Transport Logistics, 
• PRINCE2/PMP qualifications or equivalent
• Previous experience with managing large, complex projects ideally across a variety of industries 
• A strong understanding of logistics and supply chain systems, their uses and applications
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate those into a project plan and an effective operational solution
