We are recruiting a Senior Identity Management Engineer within our Modern Workspace Engineering team to help us maintain, improve and develop new innovative solutions across the Sainsbury’s group.

You will align to the Colleague Identity portfolio working alongside other engineers, in partnership with Product Managers and reporting to the Engineering Manager. Delivering modern and efficient collaborative solutions to all our users.

Coming from an Identity management and infrastructure operations background, you will be working with Microsoft Identity Manager as the main Identity management platform as well as AD, Azure AD, SQL, PowerShell, C#, AD Connect, SAML, OAuth and ADFS

Support the Product Manager and business stakeholders by advising on the practicability of the solution, marrying up technical limitations with operational realities and providing recommendations 

Work with the Modern Workspace engineers and Engineering Manager as a part of an Agile team within an End-2-End Product Life Cycle Management framework (aka Dev-Ops)

Collaborate with other technical and data teams to ensure best practice integration of the environment

Ensure that all deliverables are completed in a timely manner and to the appropriate level of quality so that the delivered solutions are fit-for purpose, can be efficiently supported and the impact of future change requests can be assessed

Contribute to post implementation reviews to incorporate learnings into future work 
Provide early life support for implementations

Take responsibility, own issues and resolve them by identifying and working with the relevant individuals 

Reflect constructively and remain positive when faced with setbacks and continue to work towards a solution.  Consider the impact of decisions, reviewing them as required.  

Take advantage of every opportunity to communicate relevant information remaining mindful of the audience (e.g. translate complex/technical issues to meet the audience's competency level)

A great communicator 

Experience in previous Identity Management positions 

Experienced with Microsoft Identity Manager operation and maintenance

Ability to customise and automate Microsoft Identity Manager using C#, SQL and PowerShell scripts

Previously used Microsoft AD, ADFS, Azure AD, and AD Connect.
