As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will work with HR and Business leaders to establish and implement HR programs that support strategies that help build a diverse, equitable and inclusive organization and talent development for our dynamic, growing marketplace business. In this role, you will:

  • Support several leadership teams of the European marketplace business. This would likely include three to four Leadership Teams in several countries in Europe.
  • Contribute to reinforce the regional HR support for the business leaders in order to establish and implement HR programs that support organizational and talent development and improve the overall employee experience across EU.
  • Contribute to define HR priorities and partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning and skills assessment;
  • Ensure HR programs and plans are aligned to the business priorities and monitor effectiveness through the tracking of key measurements;
  • Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives, as well as the day-to-day HR Business Partner responsibilities.
  • Help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention and other aspects of employee experience;
  • Work closely with other HR colleagues in and outside of the Marketplace to scale learnings for a wider impact
  • Contribute to drive key initiatives and projects in areas such as such as diversity, people development, performance management, and scaling annual talent management processes

Reporting to the Principal HR Business Partner for EU Marketplace based in London, this role requires a high sense of ownership, learning agility and the ability to think strategically while executing tactically, and collaboration across many teams, levels, and locations around the world.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in related field;
  • 6+ years of experience in an HRBP, or HR leadership or role, preferably in a high tech environment;
  • Proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills, and drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative;
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation and presentation skills;
  • Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization;
  • Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams;
  • Experience working with global teams, and driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for a global organization;
  • Resilient and able to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment;
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally, as appropriate.
